Like any big\u00a0metropolitan\u00a0area, El Paso has its share of weirdness. Today I bring you the end result of one really devoted individual in the northeast part of El Paso.<\/p>\n

La Casa de Asucar (the Sugar House)<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

This houses perimeter is\u00a0completely covered on a very ornate and intricate fence that makes no bones about just exactly who this person\u00a0believes in.<\/p>\n

This guy knows how to build a proper shrine<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

The level of detail is amazing. \u00a0I wouldn’t want to be responsible for the upkeep on this place. \u00a0I was also quite shocked that there was no apparent\u00a0damage from\u00a0vandals. No tagging, no missing heads or hands.<\/p>\n

The Sugar House<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

I was left with a kind of Hansel and Gretta feeling after seeing the Sugar House. \u00a0What do the\u00a0neighbors think? Its well maintained and lighted at night but it is a bit over the top.\u00a0 The Sugar House is a very\u00a0appropriate\u00a0name for the religious beacon just off the\u00a0freeway.
