Today I bring you the end result of one really devoted individual in the northeast part of El Paso.<\/p>\n<p>La Casa de Asucar:<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<dl id=\"\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 510px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/juanoxido\/5934805102\/in\/photostream\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" \" title=\"La Casa de Asucar\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6028\/5934805102_05d549df7e.jpg\" alt=\"La Casa de Asucar\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">La Casa de Asucar (the Sugar House)<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>This houses perimeter is\u00a0completely covered on a very ornate and intricate fence that makes no bones about just exactly who this person\u00a0believes in.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<dl id=\"\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 510px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/juanoxido\/5934815240\/in\/photostream\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" \" title=\"shrine\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6134\/5934815240_e2c78a443f.jpg\" alt=\"shrine\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">This guy knows how to build a proper shrine<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>The level of detail is amazing. \u00a0I wouldn&#8217;t want to be responsible for the upkeep on this place. \u00a0I was also quite shocked that there was no apparent\u00a0damage from\u00a0vandals. No tagging, no missing heads or hands.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<dl id=\"\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 510px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  \" title=\"La Casa de Asucar\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6026\/5934842638_66df770b05.jpg\" alt=\"La Casa de Asucar\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">The Sugar House<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>I was left with a kind of Hansel and Gretta feeling after seeing the Sugar House. \u00a0What do the\u00a0neighbors think? Its well maintained and lighted at night but it is a bit over the top.\u00a0 The Sugar House is a very\u00a0appropriate\u00a0name for the religious beacon just off the\u00a0freeway.
